More Aquarium

Really? You want MORE pictures of the aquarium?? Ok......whatever you want. I would be bored with them, but I guess you really like it. You're weird.

This is the far away look with the plants around it. It's hard to tell but Alex brought a lot of fish home last night. They are all guppies, which we had already, but these are females and we only had males. So far, we haven't killed one fish. It's a miracle.

Alex also added some plants in to the aquarium. The thought is, it might be good for the fish. We have no clue if this is true. But it's what we are going with.

Moving on.

Alex got an aquarium from a co-worker. He cleaned it out and put it together and got some guppies. This is the far away look. The candles on the sides are gone and we have put plants there.


This is the close up. Can you see the guppies? We have 3 of them, white, purple and red. They are our tester fish. If they survive we will get more, just not sure what kind.

Oh yeah, I'm a brunette now.

Pinata Time!

Alex and the girls are working on making a pinata.

We'll probably fill it with left over Halloween candy and let the girls go for it and smash it to bits. I'll post those pictures when it happens.

Halloween - Part 1

We totally suck because we did not carve pumpkins this year. Why? I'm tired. That's why. Ok, Ok, you can yell all you want. I know it was a mistake, but there isn't anything to do about it now. Next year we'll make up for it. OK, maybe not make up for it, but we will carve pumpkins. Don't worry, my head is hung in shame....

Anyway, this is Dave one of the guys in my area at work. How funny is this??? He is a funny guy. :)

The Grinch

Nike has an admin trade show. (you intel people know what I'm talking about) For those of you that don't know what it is, it's where a TON of vendors - travel, hotel, transportation, wineries, etc - get together and give out brouchures, free food, wine tasting, candy, toys, and assorted other goodies. You rake in the stuff!!! :) The theme this year was Dr. Seuss - it was crazy cute and the vendors really enjoyed it and dressed up GREAT!!!

This year not only did I get the items mentioned above, but I also got an umbrella, a plant, awesome fingernail polish, an orange colored condom (i know, but seriously they were handing them out, I had to get one), t-shirt, and some pictures.

Are you jealous?? Oh, you totally should be. :) It was fun. It was crazy hot, but still fun. And I wished I hadn't eaten breakfast because the food was amazing and I didn't get to try hardly any of it because I was so full!! Next year I'll know not to eat. Hehehe...

Allie's Haircut

Allie decided she wanted her haircut. So...we went to Greatclips. I really hate the place, but they actually did a good job. I was surprised! Ha-ha! So this is her new haircut. It's pretty cute! She liked Amber's style so she copied it. Amber is not sure how she feels about that. Ha-ha!

Misc. Pictures

Amber decided she wanted to get her hair cut short. I was VERY nervous but she was insistant. And I have to say, it's pretty cute!



Here is our cat Buddy. This is a pretty typically spot and position for him to lay in. Seriously. Can you get any lazier??? Alex says Buddy gets tuckered out walking from one room to the other and taking naps throughout the day. So we really can't blame him for collapsing in the middle of the floor like this. Poor little guy! :)

We just might be in trouble...

So.....at the daycare they had a bunch of prom dresses. All the girls decided to put on a "fashion show" and a picture was taken. OK. LOOK AT AMBER!!! LOOK AT HER!!! (she's the one of the taller kids on the right with the black dress on) Hello??? Who said she could grow up! Seriously! Knock it off!!! She's only 9!! This is not good........

Oh yeah, Allie is the 3rd one in from the left. At least SHE is doing what she is supposed to do and NOT growing!! Good girl. :)

Disney Characters

This is a short post. I am a bit busy at work, and well, since they pay me I suppose I should do it. I do not touch a computer when I get home so I can't do this then. Why? One, I am on a computer all day - the last thing I want to do when I get home is get on another one. And two, I really don't have much time at night. I mean, I COULD, but I would much rather read a book. :)

Disneyland Part 1

It has taken me a while, but I am FINALLY putting up some of the pictures from our trip to Disneyland. This first post is going to be kind of long - sorry - but I will try to break up the other ones.

If you didn't already know, we drove down to Disneyland which is about a 16 hour drive. I this picture Alex has put his seat all the way back and is sleeping. Amber is sleeping too - doesn't look too comfortable does it??! Um...yeah...I was driving when I took this picture - but it was too cute not too!!!!




We finally made it!! This is in the lobby of the Paradise Pier hotel where we stayed.

Now comes the pictures from Disneyland. This one is taken in Pirates of the Caribbean. Now...this ride isn't scary. BUT it is dark at first and there are 2 times when you go down kind of quickly. This is one of those times....

This is the other time.

I have no idea what character she is supposed to be, but I thought she and my girls would make a pretty picture. Don't you agree???
