Anyway, this is us at the Great Wolf Lodge in Washington. We were there July 9-12th. The first picture is out of order, so sorry about that. But it took me a long time to figure out how to load them and keep them in order so you guys have to suffer with it. Deal, OK??? :)
One thing the GWL (Great Wolf Lodge) offers - for a price of course - are crafts. Here are Amber and Allie doing crafty type stuff. You don't know who is who??? I'm so sad!! Amber is the oldest and Allie is the youngest - age 9 and 8.

OK, here we go...The Great Wolf Lodge!!! This is in the lobby area.
This is in the water park area. This is the focal point in the middle. What's the bucket at top doing???
Whoa!! Look out below!! It fills with water and then dumps it on the people below. Good times.
Here is Allie in the little kid section. This was her favorite section. Since she is so short for her age she is able to swim around in there and go on the little slide really easily. The water doesn't get deeper then like 3 ft.
This is in a different section. The water is deeper here - 5 ft maybe? Amber is trying to go across...

Oops! Don't fall!! (you know I was laughing right?? Of course I was, that's the kind of mother I am)
Yeah!! She made it!!
I know it's hard to tell but these stairs lead to 2 slides. They slides end up going outside the building, and of course, they are up high...
Here's Amber at the end of one of the slides....

And here's Allie. So, as you can see, if Allie can fit the tube anyone can. :)

Amber and Allie in front of the wave pool. They really liked this place. They would get in while it was calm and get on an inner-tube and then ride the waves when they came.
Amber and Alex in the deep part of the pool - again I think it's 5 ft. So there is nothing really deep here. And in this section are basketball hoops that Alex liked to play with.
Remember that bucket earlier in the post? Well there are these 2 little slides that come off of that structure. Here is Allie at the end of one of those slides.
If you recall, I was on medical leave during this time from having surgery. I was not allowed to go in to the water at all. So...what did I do while everyone was playing? THIS....
Ahhh...good times. There is NOTHING like a good book. :) :) :) :) Seriously. There is nothing more relaxing to me then reading.
Would we go back? Alex says no. But then again he was able to go in the water and I wasn't. Ha-ha! It is expensive but there are ways around that. If anyone is interested in going and wants to know how to do it CHEAPLY let me know and I'll tell you.
Well I hope you enjoyed my first blog. If not, well that's too bad. You have to come back to see if I ever update it.
Disneyland is coming soon....
