We just might be in trouble...

So.....at the daycare they had a bunch of prom dresses. All the girls decided to put on a "fashion show" and a picture was taken. OK. LOOK AT AMBER!!! LOOK AT HER!!! (she's the one of the taller kids on the right with the black dress on) Hello??? Who said she could grow up! Seriously! Knock it off!!! She's only 9!! This is not good........

Oh yeah, Allie is the 3rd one in from the left. At least SHE is doing what she is supposed to do and NOT growing!! Good girl. :)

Disney Characters

This is a short post. I am a bit busy at work, and well, since they pay me I suppose I should do it. I do not touch a computer when I get home so I can't do this then. Why? One, I am on a computer all day - the last thing I want to do when I get home is get on another one. And two, I really don't have much time at night. I mean, I COULD, but I would much rather read a book. :)

With Minnie Mouse. It was weird, after the picture she makes a smacking noise. Kind of like a kiss, I guess. I didn't know her character did that.

Disneyland Part 1

It has taken me a while, but I am FINALLY putting up some of the pictures from our trip to Disneyland. This first post is going to be kind of long - sorry - but I will try to break up the other ones.

If you didn't already know, we drove down to Disneyland which is about a 16 hour drive. I this picture Alex has put his seat all the way back and is sleeping. Amber is sleeping too - doesn't look too comfortable does it??! Um...yeah...I was driving when I took this picture - but it was too cute not too!!!!




We finally made it!! This is in the lobby of the Paradise Pier hotel where we stayed.

Now comes the pictures from Disneyland. This one is taken in Pirates of the Caribbean. Now...this ride isn't scary. BUT it is dark at first and there are 2 times when you go down kind of quickly. This is one of those times....

This is the other time.

I have no idea what character she is supposed to be, but I thought she and my girls would make a pretty picture. Don't you agree???

And last, but certainly not least, Alex and the girls in line for the Matterhorn. I do not ride that ride. It is so jerky it gives me a horrible headache. So....I sat and relaxed while they stood in line.

Wasn't that exciting??! I bet you can't wait for more! Well, too bad. You will have to wait until I put part 2 up. Keep checking back. If you haven't lost interest already so far.... :P

More from Aunt Dawn and Uncle Jeff

The girls have been having a FANTASTIC time with Aunt Dawn and Uncle Jeff. I am not sure they want to come home tomorrow. I love how they forget about us when Aunt Dawn and Uncle Jeff are spoiling them rotten. Ha-ha! Just kidding! I know the girls miss us. And we'll bribe them to want to come home with promises of chores, washing dishes, rubbing my feet - fun stuff like that. How could the possibly want to stay away???

Here they are with Jeff's parents Ron and Phyllis. At the CASINO!! I mean really! Is that any place to take my innocent children? Did they teach my girls how to double down???





Here they are on the hottest day of the week. In the sun. At the park. Playing hard. Does anyone see any water for my children to drink? I don't either. Good parenting Dawn. Ha-ha!!

Aunt Dawn took them to work with her one day. The girls had a blast and were a hit at the office. Everyone loved them! Obviously they were on their BEST behavior. (I'm kidding - they are great kids) Do you see those big purses?? Aunt Dawn had them for them when they arrived at her house. I think that has been the favorite thing for the girls so far. They LOVE purses. They are such girls - how did that happen? I'm the least girly person I know!

Thank you Aunt Dawn and Uncle Jeff for such a fun time for the girls. Alex and I enjoyed our time together. We missed the girls like crazy, but it was good for us to be alone. And I think it was good for the girls to be away from us. I know it was a lot to have them for an entire week - but we truly do appreciate it! You guys ROCK!!! :)

Disneyland Teaser

Visiting Aunt Dawn and Uncle Jeff

Amber and Allie are spending the week with Aunt Dawn and Uncle Jeff. YEAH!!! I am surprised at how much we miss them, but we've also had a great time. We saw a bunch of movies over the weekend - Dark Knight, Hancock, and Step Brothers. Plus we rented a couple as well. It has been very relaxing, but still pretty lonely.

Anyway, the girls are having a blast and I'm not to sure they miss US. Oh sure, they SAY they do on the phone, but let's be serious. It's just brown nosing. Oh well, I'll pretend they miss us.

Aunt Dawn and Uncle Jeff are exhausting themselves with so much stuff for the kids to do. Sadly, Dawn does not (??!) have a camera. (Seriously, what's that about??!) so the following pictures are from her cell phone. Which explains the poor quality. :)

They took the girls horseback riding. They will now FOREVER be the BEST Aunt and Uncle in the WORLD to Amber and Allie. And they may request every weekend to go visit them. Sucks for Dawn and Jeff, but good times for Alex and I. Bwahahahahaha!!!!
